Sample Itinerary

Arrive at Nanny Cay
1.

Arrive at Nanny Cay

Arrive at the beautiful BVI’s via ferry from St. Thomas or fly into Beef Island and make your way by taxi to Nanny Cay. To get a head start on your charter, choose the sleep aboard option. Stow your gear and provisions and spend your first night aboard your yacht. Or spend your first night in a hotel room at the Nanny Cay Hotel. Explore the various restaurant options onsite, whether you're hungry for pizza, BBQ, burgers, or sandwiches.

Norman Island
2.

Norman Island

Enjoy sunrise on the beach before your charter briefing and boat check. Once instruction is complete, cruise the Sir Francis Drake Channel to The Bight on Norman Island, rumored setting for "Treasure Island." Stop at the Indians to snorkel along the way, then pick up your overnight mooring. Dinghy over to The Caves to explore the coral reef, and finish the night with dinner ashore at Pirates Bight.

The Baths
3.

The Baths

Visit one of the BVI's top attractions—the famous granite boulders at The Baths. Hike the trail to the top for lunch and a dip in the pool, then set off for North Sound on Virgin Gorda. Pick up a mooring in Leverick Bay, where a nearby store offers provisions and ice. Take the dinghy to explore deserted beaches or snorkel Eustatia Reef, and enjoy dinner at Hog Heaven, Fat Virgin's Café, or the iconic Bitter End Yacht Club.

Bitter End
4.

Bitter End

Enjoy breakfast and a relaxing cruise to the Bitter End Yacht Club, a beachfront gem on the north end of Virgin Gorda. Spend time on the beach, try the local eateries, or pull out the water toys to explore the marine life in the turquoise water. Then head north to Oil Nut Bay to moor for the night, where you can enjoy spas, tennis, yoga, and other resort amenities, or take a dip in the pool.

Jost Van Dyke
5.

Jost Van Dyke

Another day in paradise, and another day with endless options. Pick up a mooring ball in Great Harbor, then enjoy and explore Foxy’s. Take your tender over to Soggy Dollar Bar for drinks and food. After you enjoy your hike to the ocean’s edge of Bubbly Pool and finish your drinks at Coco Locos Beach & Sports Bar, make your way back to Great Harbor for the night.

Cane Garden Bay
6.

Cane Garden Bay

Cruise to Cane Garden Bay, the liveliest beach town in the BVI, and spend the day swimming, snorkeling the western edge, or simply relaxing on the sand. As evening falls, enjoy happy hour and live music, then grab dinner at a local favorite like Quito's Gazebo, Elm, or Myett's. When you're ready to call it a night, dinghy back to your mooring ball for the evening.

Cooper Island
7.

Cooper Island

Start the morning with a swim and breakfast before heading to Cooper Island, where you'll pick up an overnight mooring buoy (anchoring isn't permitted). Snorkel off Cistern Point, browse the local shops, or soak up the sun on the beach all afternoon. Head to the Cooper Island Beach Club for cold drinks and great food, and savor your last night in the islands.

Depart Nanny Cay
8.

Depart Nanny Cay

Take your last morning dive and make your way back to the MarineMax Vacations Nanny Cay base. You can enjoy lunch at the resort and relax on the beach. Once you complete your boat debrief with our MarineMax Vacations team, we won’t be saying our good-byes, but rather, "see you later".
