A Beautiful BVI Holiday
Gear up for a festive holiday atmosphere throughout the British Virgin Islands where an abundance of cheer can be found on land and at sea. You may even want to bring some holiday decorations and lights and join in the festivities!
Dreaming of a Warm Winter
With winter temperatures averaging a low of 70 and high of 83 degrees, and the tradewinds just about perfect, there’s no better place to spend warm winter time than in the British Virgin Islands. So keep those bathing suits and flip flops out - no need to pack them away this year.
One of the most beloved BVI holiday traditions is the the family friendly festivities at the Bitter End Yacht Club. The evening begins with Santa and his merry elves aboard Ponce de Leon leading the Annual Lighted Boat Parade with prizes for well-lit and creatively-decorated boats, so be sure to bring some of your favorite and holiday decorations and get in on the fun!
Following the parade, everyone is invited to join in the Christmas Eve Celebration ashore.
To celebrate this wonderful time of the year, Foxy's prepares a Christmas Eve Dinner and a traditional Christmas Day Menu with live entertainment, holiday music, and plenty of dancing. There’s no snow, just sand between your toes as you gaze up at the North Star and look for Santa speeding on his way to all on Jost Van Dyke.
Dining aboard your power catamaran with all the traditional fixings can be as merry as you want it to be. With spacious salons, galleys and oversized flybridges outfitted with wetbars and electric grills, the convenience of preparing your holiday dinner is only outdone by the incredible views at whichever anchorage you chose.
Holiday dining can be reserved at most restaurants throughout the islands. Ask us for information on your favorite spot including the popular Scrub Island and Peter Island.
Spend the holiday playing in the warm water rather than in the snow. Fishing, diving, sailing and snorkeling excursions make great stocking stuffers for those who like to adventure their way around the BVI.
You can make plans to dive the Wreck of the Rhone, snorkel the Caves at Norman Island, sail a Hobie Cat at BEYC, or relax at a secluded beach in Anegada.
