BVI Weather Conditions

The British Virgin Islands are well-known for their scenic island beauty and glistening Caribbean waters.  But that's not all.  The year-round near perfect weather enjoyed by locals and visitors is something that is worthy of praise all in itself.

Temperature

Warm vacation weather doesn’t expire when summer ends!  Temperatures range from 79° to 84° year round, perfect for your choice of land or sea activities.  The ocean and the islands are the ideal dream destination for whatever time of year you choose to visit.

Winds

During the winter months of November to January, the prevailing wind is from the Northeast at 15-20 knots.  The fables Christmas winds can sometimes produce 25-30 knots, then by February the winds start to move around to the east and by June are blowing out of the Southeast at 10-15 knots. During September to October, the trade winds are the weakest and the weather can be less settled.
